I thought the book club was very good because everyone looked back in the book for details. Also the people in the book club listened to each other and did not interrupt. When you do a book club everyone should disagree politely. You can agree, disagree, add on to what someone said or have a connection to a important part of the story. There are so many rules you try to follow in a book club but book clubs are still very fun!
I agree completely with your assessment of the book club. One thing I would add is that I notice there was excellent eye contact…even though we were almost 3,000 miles apart!
I’m Owen. We think your reading club is pretty cool. Our class has done lots of reading this year. My favourite book this year is Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Ugly Truth. The book is sort of funny. Have you read this book?

Dear Mr. Salsich,
I heard from Margot that everyone listened to each other.
They agreed with each other and they never interrupted each other.

Dear Emmett,
Your comment really confused me.
What were you talking about when you said everyone was listening to each other?
Who agreed with each other?
I wish you could clear this up for me because it really is hurting my brain.
