Mr. Avery is a great teacher from Massachusetts, and he is one of our main blogging buddies.

He maintains Mr Avery’s Classroom Blog which is a model blog for classes around the world. Mr Avery is very talented at making videos with his students to help them understand math concepts.
Mr Avery has been blogging with his class since late 2010, and Mr. Salsich and his students have enjoyed blogging with his class since that time. We had a great writing/Skype project with his class in the fall.

The 49′ers are getting geared up to crank out math movies for our testing review. Without you, we would be drilling worksheets instead of making movie stars!

Dear Mr. Salsich and class,
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and the amazing video! I LOVED how you made a whole Red Sox scene for me. I’m sure some of the Yankees fans weren’t too happy though!
I had an amazing birthday. I got to spend the weekend in Boston which is one of my favorite places to be. I saw the Bruins play the Flyers on Saturday. It was an amazing game. The Bruins won in a shootout!
Thank you for making my birthday such a special day. It means so much to me that you all took the time to make these amazing videos and incredible Prezi for me!

Dear Mr. Avery,
Boston is one of my favorite places to be because lots of baseball games are played there. One of my favorite teams is the red sox. It was fun making the video.

I love going into Boston to watch a Red Sox game. I always try to go to at least a few every year.
I wanted the Boston Bruins to win. They’re one of my favorite teams. I always try to watch all of their games. Do you like the Bruins?
