That would be a perfect idea! Can I (and if Cole wants to) be in the show? I think Messi had scored like 73 goals for his team, a new single season record. But that was for a single season. For that same season, Ronaldo was just behind with 60 goals.

Yes! Maybe we could compare them with the teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona FC. (FORCA BARCA!)

But the mathlete show might be a waste… because Messi is obviously so much better than Ronaldo.

It seems like there are some different opinions in our class (and around the world) about who is the better player; Messi or Ronaldo.

Perhaps we should compare them by their statistics over the past four years? If we look at how many goals and assists each of them has, we should get a good idea of who is better at giving their team the advantage. Since they both play in the same league (La Liga in Spain), we could just compare their club play when they are playing against the same opponents and not their international play for their home countries.

Maybe we could use the statistics and the math involved for the next Mathlete Show… What do you think? Would that give us a good idea of who is better?

No way! I think Messi is so much better than Ronaldo by so far!

Portugal is a very good team. They are very fast, especially because of Ronaldo. Ronaldo has very good hand-eye coordination and he has great ball control. (Even though Messi has that and he can do it way better!)

I like to watch hockey, too. My favorite team is the Bruins. My favorite player is either Krecjci or Chara.
